August 15th & 16th, 2025!
When we started planning, we didn’t expect what happened. We booked a venue and planned for about 80 to show up. After all, we were all getting old and the turn out would most likely be lower than usual.
Not so fast! We’re talking about the Norwin Class of 1965. We always show up and it was no different this time older or not. Before we hit the cut off date for responding, we had outgrown the room we had originally booked. It took some fast peddling but the committee pulled it off.
We arranged for a room change at Manor Valley Golf Club but that involved a change of time. Everyone that had made reservations to come had to be notified. Since we had to notify all of them anyway, we added an evening. A night at Greenhouse Winery on Friday, August 15th, listening to the sounds of the Big Band Era. It was a beautiful night for all who attended. The only problem we encountered was we had no name tags. It was quickly decided that was a mistake.
Once again the committee came through. When we arrived Saturday afternoon for the Reunion we came with name tags. It certainly was a big help! We filled the big room with 117 people. We had a delightful evening catching up with old friends and making friends we hardly knew in high school. I hope you can enjoy it through some of the photos taken both Friday and Saturday evenings.
